About Eryka
I love explaining and demonstrating Chemistry in a way students will understand AND remember! I love being efficeint, detailed, and dependable for students. Chemistry can be a difficult subject, so I like to make the topics simple and easier to grasp.
I have a Level 1 Tutoring Certification and have experience tutoring 18-23 year olds. I am a recent Nursing graduate from West Chester University, but I still use and love chemsitry and it's priniciples everyday.
I got started in college through our tutoring center! I took som education courses as well, but I loved my Chemistry courses and excelled in High School and College with Chemsitry. I love helping students understand Chemistry and apply it!
I have training with tutoring through West Chester University. I have experience tutoring Chemistry, around 60-80 students who were majoring in Allied Health Science majors inlcusing Nursing, Nutrition, Biology, and Chemistry. I took honors and AP Chemistry in High School as well as Chemistry and Organic Chemsitry in college.

I typically will begin with a breif introduction of myself, and the student. I will evaluate their exposure/knowledge of the subject and their preferred learning style. I will then offer them the chance to explain specifc areas of strengths and weaknesses. Then, I will begin a pre-test to establkish a good baseline for their knowledge.
I have worked with undergraduate college students and newly high school graduates.
I would advise you to look for a teacher or tutor who is skilled, optimistic, and flexible!
