About Michael

No matter what your goal is proper nutrition is the key! I am a seasoned chef with a love for health and helping people. The core of my program is to educate you, motivate you and send you on your path. My 15, 30 and 45 day programs will get your mind in shape, so your body can follow!

Changing lives and making people healthier is hands down the most fulfilling things I have ever done.

A major part of upper management in the food world is training, and lots of it. Over the course of my carrier, I have trained well over 500 cooks/dishwashers/servers/bartender etc. I also have 4 kids so patience is one of my stronger points. At the end of the day teaching people how to enrich their lives is just a great feeling!

I have been a dishwasher, busboy, server, line cook, short order cook, Sushi Chef, Pit Master, Sous Chef, Head Chef, Executive Chef, Corporate Research and Development Chef, Food and Beverage Director, General Manager. Oh and I was on the Food Network with a guy named Bobby Flay 🤓

About the lesson

The first thing we will do is a Q&A session over the phone free of charge. At this time, we will identify your goals then discuss a bare bones education plan of what I think will get you to where you want to be, with the resources and time you have. Be it cooking classes, or nutrition/fitness training the entire process will take less than 15-20 minutes. If we come to an agreement and you would like to move forward, plans and pricing will be supplied via email after initial deposit has been received. Deposits vary based on services provided.

PDF/Video a la cart lesson plans are available for purchase.

Techniques over recipes. The basics will get you further than any cook book, and always ask questions. The world of food is massive and nobody knows everything.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out

Identify your end goal. If you want to just be a stronger cook then you need to look at skill training. If you want to blow your friends and family away, identify every item in the meal and stick to it. The world of food is full of rabbit holes. Also, make sure the chef you are working with has hands on experience with that cuisine.
