PREVIOUS TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
Art Fellow:
Teaching and research assistant to the Art Department for grades seven through twelve. Researched and presented lessons to classes of 8 to 20 students. Designed and built the first comprehensive art department website using Wix.com. Tutored students in portfolio building, technical art skills, and idea development. Edited over 100 creative writing submissions by students for the annually-published school magazine. Edited college admissions essays and portfolios.
Mosaic Program Assistant:
Program assistant to a non-profit after-school enrichment program at the public elementary school in Clinton Hill. In charge of preschool, kindergarten, and first-grade children. Managed classrooms of up to twenty-seven students aged three through five.
French Tutor:
Tutored 10th and 11th graders in IB-level French. Worked with six students over the course of a year on homework and test preparation.
