About Jessica

Hello and Welcome! Let our teachers of over 25 years of teaching art help you find your create outlet. Whether it's drawing, mixed media, watercolor, mandalas, Affirmation Art, abstracts or loose/abstract portraiture we can help you find your way. All classes are via Zoom, so we can literally meet you where you are as long as you have a Zoom connection and we have! We have trained students all over the world in our art programs and look forward to working together with you to find your expressive outlet.

Our instructor, Jessica, has over 20 years of art teaching experience and additionally offers mindfulness training, work with abstraction in all mediums including fibers and Therapeutic and Expressive Arts Life Coaching. She is a credentialed and certified psychotherapist, expressive arts therapist, Accessible Yoga Teacher, addictions counselor and life coach.

We enjoy seeing the faces and hearing the joy of people who have amazed themself through play, exploration, affirmation, mindful art and simple instruction. We love helping people connect deeper to themselves and to release the inner critic that tells them, "it's not good enough". Whether you are 5 or 95, we can help you get on your way or even advance your journey through expressive art.

Our owner, expressive arts therapist and art teacher is Jessica Waters, Phd, who has spent 25 years teaching art to children, adolescents and adults. She specializes in abstract expressionist work, mindful and meditative art, contemplative, meraki art, Shamanic art and intuitive art. She has degrees and certificates in education, art education, mixed media art, creative expression, healing with the arts and art in palliative care.

About the lesson

I require 15 minute free consult on Zoom so we can discuss what you are desiring and what I can offer you with lessons. Working on Zoom, we'll have multiple cameras, one is a demonstration camera so you can see exactly what I am doing with the art process, and you can either follow along or simply watch the demo. Whatever you are comfortable with. I also love to guide you through the process with encouragement and affirmation.
