David is one the most wonderful teachers I’ve had. He adjusts his teaching style as you progress to align with exactly what you need to understand how to play whatever it is you’re working on. The amount of kindness and patience he has shown me over our lessons is priceless. He takes the time to choose music that not only suits you but helps you progress. He is caring and strives to help you reach your goals and invent new ones! I highly recommend him as a teacher, and will continue to take lessons from him as long as he is willing to teach me!

David is an extremely talented musician and teacher. His passion for music is obvious and he seems to know (and enjoy!) so many different genres of music. He is an extremely patient and adept teacher, who makes the material accessible without compromising on thoroughness. I really appreciated that, even though I was a novice and kind of a slacker student, he always kept me to a high standard and consistently pushed me to improve my form and technique. He is also funny, kind, and super chill. I can’t recommend him enough!

David is an amazing teacher, has a method to it and not only can he play and teach any drum groove and song out of a hat, but does it with passion and dedication. He’s fun to work with, patient and kind. A fine drummer who breathes and lives music, he always takes the time out of his day to answer drum questions outside of class. I learned so much in a short amount of time, I am really grateful for all he is willing to give.
