About Eric
Hey there - Welcome to my music studio! I am a jazz-focused percussionist, with a specialty in vibraphone and mallet percussion. I also play keyboards and drums. I have a Bachelor's of Percussion Performance from Pacific Lutheran University and have been teaching private lessons since I graduated in 2020. I have also been fortunate to have taken lessons and online masterclasses with current jazz vibraphone virtuosos Tony Miceli, Joe Locke, David Friedman, and Warren Wolf. My philosophy with any lesson, whether it be beginning piano or advanced jazz theory, is the WHY, not just the HOW, and I love helping my students work towards their goals. With both a classical and jazz background, I have the knowledge to help with a variety of these goals!
