My teenage son has had drum lessons with Nick since elementary school. He never wants to change. He says Nick is very detailed, doesn't let anything slip by, and is knowledgeable about every percussion instrument. Nick is a musician with breadth and depth. He understands the whole maturation process in drumming and relates very well to the kid. I think he can take a student to a very high level. We are lucky to have landed with Nick for a teacher.

Nick is an outstanding drum teacher! His passion for percussion makes the lessons fun for my teenage son, yet challenging. He is also flexible when schedules get crazy, which, as a busy professional and single mom, I REALLY appreciate. Under Nick’s instruction, my son is also learning the value of perseverance. He has tried and given up on so many activities, which is easy to do with all the options and competing priorities these days. Nick’s patience, skills, and the positive environment he creates at each lesson, has helped my son stick with it and has greatly improved his confidence, not just with music, but in general. I unhesitatingly recommend Nick as a superbly competent percussion instructor!!!

I am in awe of Nick’s ability to connect to people. He is fun, easygoing and obviously musically gifted. Nick has been a wonderful drum instructor to my son (age 8). He is incredibly patient and radiates positivity. Although my daughter was less interested in drums, Nick worked with her briefly and noted that she had strong musical aptitude (something I don’t have at all) and encouraged her to try piano lessons. She took to piano with great enthusiasm and has been playing for over five years. This never would have happened without Nick’s guidance. I simply can’t write enough good things about him.

Nick’s knowledge extends across all genres. While Nick is patient in his instruction, he delivers results quickly! That’s coming from someone who couldn’t walk and chew gum at the same time!

Nick is a super talented drummer but also a great teacher. My son loves taking lessons from him. He is always positive while providing clear instruction and feedback.
