About Sakshi
My name is Sakshi Multani, and I am the founder of Apex English Tutoring. I am a highly skilled English tutor with over 3 years of experience teaching reading comprehension, creative writing, business writing, literature, vocabulary, and grammar and syntax to students ages 5 to 45. I hold a bachelors in business administration with a double major in finance and management and have work experience within various aspects of the corporate world, including sales, marketing, recruiting, and human resources. I received a full score on both the reading and writing sections of the SAT and have won over 15 essay and fiction writing competitions since adolescence.
My passion is to help students master the English language in order to effectively articulate themselves in the workplace and excel in their academic life.

My typical process for working with a new student entails gaining an understanding of the student's desired level of achievement along with their current level of comprehension. I then like to gauge the student's preferred method of learning (auditory, visual, oral, etc.) so that I can tailor my approach accordingly. Finally, I find that spending some time reviewing material that the student has previously learned provides a strong foundation to better absorb new material and techniques moving forward. Above all, I strive to make the student feel comfortable and engaged at all times so they can achieve a high level of self-motivation and knowledge retention.
