About Kristina

My passion & experience for teaching along with my love of children (of all ages) helps me to be an ideal candidate for working with any learner who needs help. I have experience working with all level of learners from our average students to our both high and low end students. I have learned multiple techniques and how to communicate to help my students to become their best selves.

Experience:

I have over 20 years of experience and have enjoyed teaching one on one or in group settings. I started out back in grade school helping other students and leading groups who might be struggling. In high school I became a teachers assistant which allowed me to grade papers and assist others as needed. Through college I supported my fellow students in our study groups and helped them to understand difficult concepts. As a mother of five children from the ages of 10-21 I taught preschool out of my home to a group of children and have supplemented my children's learning all the way through school, which I am still doing. I also had the privilege of homeschooling my youngest two in Kindergarten due to a move and age differences. I have spent countless hours teaching children in my church through music & lessons. I have also had the privilege of being both a Cub/Boy Scout leader and have done Girl Scouts also. My favorite thing since my children have all been in school has been to work with small groups or a single child who needs extra help in the classroom. Once my children were all in school I decided to go back and get my teaching credential here in Colorado, so I am a licensed teacher in the state of Colorado.

Music Experience:

My mentors were highly respected in the music field and I enjoyed some of the best training. I got to perform in the Choir of the Worlds festival in Wales, which is very prestigious. I sang from the time I was in elementary school all the way through college. I had to audition to get into the top groups and was blessed to be in them at every level. I have over 30 years of experience and would love to help you with your music if you need it.

I look forward to helping you become the best you can in the subjects you are struggling in. My overall goal is to see you succeed.

My favorite thing about teaching/tutoring is seeing the light bulb turn on for a student when they finally grasp a concept.

I love working with students of all ages, especially those who have a passion for learning. In the world today, education has changed and it is hard to get the instruction needed at times. Parents are being forced to do more and to teach in some cases. This is where I come in and give you the skills needed to get better, or to teach your child in a intimate setting. Working with one student versus a classroom full gives me the time to focus on your needs and help you to turn your or your child's weaknesses into strengths. I love to connect with my students and enjoy seeing them become successful in the things they are striving to achieve.
