About Raphael
Hello, friends! My name is Raphael. I have a background in pre-K through 12th grade education, including experience with gifted and special education. I have been tutoring others in English since I was in high school -- over a decade ago now! -- and am excited to finally turn my greatest passion and strength into a business. I have experience teaching everything from beginning phonics to college literature essays and welcome students at any stage. I also strongly believe that all students have a right to education that is suited to their needs and backgrounds, and that learning should be fun! I love to think outside the box for ways to help students learn and be proud of their work.
I struggled to fit in in the classroom environment growing up. I went into education because I wanted to make things easier for others!
