About Lily
I am currently a doctoral student in clinical psychology. I graduated from NYU in 2018 and have experience in child care, teaching, and tutoring. I love working with all ages and finding creative ways to make learning fun, accessible, and stress-free. I particularly enjoy English, social studies, and social sciences.
I was a PreK teaching assistant for two years and also have tutored kids ranging from 5 to 17 years old. I am currently a doctoral student in psychology and have a BA from NYU.

The first thing I want to do is build rapport with a student. If we don't have a connection, it is really difficult to create a positive learning environment. Once we have found some common interests, I will start by learning from them what they do best and what they struggle with. I will also want to hear from the student what teaching style works best for them.
I have worked with students with learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and anxiety disorders.
