About Bee
I graduated magna cum laude from Williams College with honors in English and French. Drawing from my liberal arts background, I can tutor in a wide variety of topics, including writing, reading, social studies and history, math, and test prep.
I spent this past year tutoring math, history, and language arts in the academic support classroom at Mount Greylock High School in Williamstown, MA. I also ran the after-school writing club at the same school for two years. In 2015, I wrote sample SAT I questions for an education technology start-up that develops adaptive learning software for international students preparing for U.S. exams.

I like to meet with students to discuss their needs and goals and develop a teaching plan. From there, it's largely up to each student to determine how our tutoring sessions will go -- their frequency, length, location, and form. Personally, I recommend that students complete tasks or assignments before our meetings so that we can hit the ground running. Together, we go over the assignment, make corrections, and decide from there which skills or problems we should focus on in the remainder of the session.
