About Abi

My busniess stands out because while I am a high school student, these subjects are ones I've aced and taken private lessons on. I can work with lower classmen in high school, middle school, and elementary school. I am really good at commutating with every age level and can connect with people better because I am their age or have been recently before. I am incredibly passionate about these topics and want to inspire passion in everyone else for these subject by making them not so hard to understand, however they feel they learn best. The student is most important to me so they will lead discussion based on what they think is most important. I have two younger brothers, on being 13 and the other being 7, who I help through school so I know what its like to teach something. I will be available through text or email to receive any work the student has and will personally work through it with them

I love science subjects and culture subjects (language arts, social studies, and spanish). I have always had a passion for them because they teach so much about humans and their behaviour. I have always been really good at them, hope I can help others get interested in them too, and inspire them to help others!

I have always been interested in teaching people subjects I love because I love seeing passion in kids and watching them grow

I have been in higher Spanish, Language Arts, and Social Studies for 5+ years (Spanish - 5, Social Studies - 8, and Language Arts - 6). Apart from that I have never gotten below a B in an AP class or below an A in higher level classes. I have taken it upon myself to takw private lessons to dive deeper into these subjects because I am passionate about them.

About the lesson

I will try to get to know them a little bit and break the ice so they feel comfortable working with me. Then I will see what topics they would like to focus on most. If they have a worksheet I will have them send it to me so I can work on it step by step or problem by problem with them. If they dont I will teach them a subject or concept they don't quite understand based on how they feel they will learn it best. I always have my emails on so if they have questions or need more time they can contact me

I have worked with people from my school and people from my brothers elementary school. I've ranged from all types of learning such as physical and visual. I am very flexible when it comes to teaching styles.

A tutor is meant to be like a personal teacher so make sure they are flexible to YOUR needs. Not theirs. Make sure they are able to connect to you or your student to give them a safe, comfortable learning environment. Lastly, make sure they are passionate about the subject they are teaching because if they're not, neither will the student
