About Cassidy
I'm able to tutor in English k-12, Math up to algebra and some other subjects depending on grade level and content. I love kids and have worked with them for several years.
I love meeting kids and working in education, I'm especially interested in English and helping kids understand the potential of language, there's so much we can do with words! I've worked with all kinds of learners from all backgrounds before and enjoy making plans for each kid I tutor.
I've been mentoring younger children since I was in eighth grade. I started as a peer mentor in english and reading. I've since mentored in all levels of english and even taught basic programming courses for fifth graders!
I've received perfect scores on AP English exams and 34+ ACT essays/English and Reading sections. I'm currently a college student with an English minor.

I'm happy to do an introductory Zoom session with students or parents to get to know them and understand their needs. I enjoy getting to know students as we work together and finding the best approach for them based on what they enjoy!
I've worked with mostly ages 8-12 and peer mentored high school students. I have experience working with mild learning disabilities and am happy to accomodate all types of learning.
