About Elaine

I know how stressful the process can be and I started this tutoring business to provide affordable and quality tutoring. My colleague and I are all extremely qualified to help you. We have all been through the process and we want to help you reach your dreams as well. About Elaine Li, founder Hi! My name is Elaine Li and I am a current student at Cornell University. I am currently studying as an Applied Economics and Management Major and Information Science minor. The Dyson School of Business accepted around 3% of the applicants for the class of 2022. I was also accepted at the University of Texas’s McCombs Business Honors Program. As a young adult, I have around 3 years of tutoring experience. I have tutored kids from elementary to high school. I scored a 1560 on my SAT (760 English, 800 Math). Therefore, I am confident in my ability to help you achieve a better score. I am comfortable tutoring online, using Zoom as a platform. My goal is to make the testing process more bearable and understandable. I can tutor the courses listed below: - SAT Math - SAT English - Elementary Math - Algebra 1 - College Application Advice Our team is made up of qualified tutors that have TA'ed in college, excelled in high school (valedictorians/salutatorians), high SAT scores, Ph.D. Grad Student, etc. We will create a curated and personalized curriculum just for you to succeed. I started teaching when I became a daycare counselor and I taught children from 1st grade-7th grade in English and math. I absolutely loved the experience and continued to tutor once I left for college.

In addition, we have an exceptional tutoring staff. All of our tutors attend or have attended renowned institutions and are in college or higher.

About the lesson

My typical process for working with a new student is to assess their preliminary needs (diagnostic test or topics student wants to cover). Then, we can create a curriculum based on the student's needs and targets. In addition, we set goals for the students to achieve over the coming weeks.

I have worked with students from 1st grade up to 11th grade.
