About Gisele

I'm an all day tutor/babysitter for online or homeschooled students as well as an after school tutor. I'm currently a highschool AP student with a current gpa of 3.5. My first score on the PSAT was an 1150 so with my experience I know exactly what I can do to raise a score tremendously.I work well with anywhere between 4th graders and 11th graders. I love working with kids who have a passion to learn. Even the slightest bit of curiosity means the world to me because that means these kids have a a fire in them, an innate passion to learn. Teaching someone something and watching their eyes light up when everything clicks into place is the best part or this job to me.

I feel like i've always taught. From helping my brother with homework to helping young kids in stem workshops for clubs understand why rainbows exsist. Its just fun and I've done it for a while. My first official time teaching was when I worked under Mr. Mcgovern at my highschool. We taught freshman Biology.

I have worked under one of my highschool's biology teachers to teach students biology. I've studied in highschool biology and AP bio in highschool and my average testing grade was a 95. I am currently retaking AP bio to score a five. I have helped peers study for a biology final to get from a 65 to a 90. I have a lead role in the biology club at my school, and I have helped in workshops that are stem relatedn (which worked with younger children).

About the lesson

I will accomodate to the student tremendously by having a free introductory session, If they get a feel for me and like me then I will carry on from there with introductory work and a series of diagnostic tests to see where theyre at.

I've worked with students from many different ethnicities and backgrounds. With learning issues or attention deficits you name it i've seen it.

I'd say, be patient. Not everyone is gonna work with or for you so finding the right teacher can be hard. Be gentle with yourself. You are a human, you can learn anything. But not everyone can teach everything. So be patient.

Good questions to think through are, Am I ready to learn? Am I looking in the right direction? Do I know how much I need to know? And What am I looking for in a teacher?

If I am babysitting/tutoring I'd prefer 24$ an hour but the price is negotiable in most circumstances. For one on one sessions online or in person its going to be 15$ per hour
