About Lindsay
I have a Master's in Elementary Education and I spent my years as a teacher and private tutor working with grades 4 - 12. I love a challenge and my students found it to be a very interesting synthesis when the teacher is learning (but guiding) right along with the students.

I first like to spend time getting to know my student: their likes and dislikes, what lights them up, and how they like to approach sitting down and focusing. I find that sometimes a short guided meditation helps both the student and myself drop into the present moment and sharpen our focus. I appreciate a holistic approach when working with kids because learning is so much more nuanced then memorizing and hoping it sticks.
