About Jenny
I have a Master's degree and over 20 years of teaching experience. I have taught preschool through college level classes in a variety of subjects. In addition, I have taught dual credit classes.
I helped develop and oversee the town of Mount Ayr's After-school Tutoring program including successfully writing the grants for the program.
I enjoy helping students achieve their goals and find enjoyment in learning.
I have taught classes at the preschool through university level. I have taught a variety of subjects. I currently hold advanced degrees and have been teaching for over 20 years.

I find it is important to determine a student's primary learning style, what makes the student most comfortable and what sparks the student's interest. It is essential to listen to the student. Listening is often more important than speaking in teaching. It is also important to create a positive, encouraging environment for learning. I can work with student's materials or I can provide materials.
