About Sharron
I am currently a high school student (12th grade) interested in tutoring children grades Pre-K through 8. I am currently studying English at the college level and I enjoy helping children advance in english speaking and essay writing. I currently have a scholarship to attend Webster University under the English major. I have also won the Beth Louis Essay Award for 4 years straight until I reached the age where I could no longer compete. I genuinely enjoy English and I cannot wait to assist you and/or your child.

First, I get to know the student and what they feel that their strengths and weaknesses are. I then, allow them to free write so that I can understand for myself how to help them and/or what areas they may need to show improvement. With every assignment they receive, I will be there as a helper. I will help them edit and improve their essay without taking over or letting them feel as if I am overstepping or doing the work for them. I will provide simple suggestions with explanations why something would be a better fit rather than demanding a change.
