About Aania
Hi everyone! I'm an TEFL certified English tutor, keen to help students in a wide range of topics! As a literature lover and Journalism major, I have the skills to support you on your way to excel in English!
With my TEFL certification, I am able to teach students of differing levels, and conduct classes professionally with carefully curated lesson plans.
The biggest reward is seeing the people you've helped become confident in their skills. I enjoy customising my lesson plans to fit each student specifically, and then supporting them based on the goals they give me at the beginning.
I taught my younger brother's friends casually, and then became certified.
In high school, I was awarded the strongest student in English for 5 consecutive years.
I have a TEFL certificate, which makes me eligible to teach English professionally.
I have studied in international schools, and recently graduated from a university in England, and have a strong command of the language.

I first like to get an understanding of what the student's existing level is. Then I always ask what the student's goals are. This helps me narrow down the focus of the lessons, and allows me to curate lesson plans that are specific and personalised to the student.
Mostly high schoolers (15-17) who are IB students.
Make sure your teacher understands what your goals are, and helps you reach them, rather than teaching you for the sake of it. It is very important to choose a teacher that is knowledgeable but also can build a rapport with you. Being at ease will help you stay motivated in your journey.
Lockdown allowed my family to have a lot of undisturbed time with each other. I was very fond of our game nights because we rediscovered our playful side!
