About Kelly
All my life I have had an unquenchable thirst for learning and excelling and one of the things that has help me be successful is being able to teach others what I have learned. I was a volunteer tutor in high school my senior year to help in any subjects. Now I have a BA in Sociology and a minor in Chemistry. I have a passion for writing and literature as well. I have not tutored on a formal platform before but I will work hard to understand your needs and customize our sessions so that you will gain the maximum out of your time.
Some of my favorite learning experiences involve having a peer teaching me one-on-one or have me be in the role of tutor. I have come to value that time over any classroom setting.
I hope to be able to share my passions with you and help you reach your goals as well as encourage you to reach even higher!
I really love that feeling of accomplishment from both myself and the student. It makes me feel good knowing that the student has achieved their goals or at least taken a huge step in the right direction. Making a connection and being able to help in any way I can is a reward in and of itself.
