Learning should be a collaboritve approach. I first talk with both student and parents/guardians about what their needs and goals are. Then, I like to get to know the student. Schoolwork can be frustrating. Tutoring should be a positive experience where the student feels good about themselves and their work.
Primarily, my experience includes working with students with behavioral, emotional, social needs, autism and physical disabilites. I have also assisted high school students in their college planning journey.
