About Andrea
I have tutored from Kindergarten Students just learning to read with learning disabilities, to High School students struggling with Vocabulary, to ESOL students. I am bilingual and happy to work with people of all ages and paths. I have scored in the higher percentiles in all my standardized tests, from Florida's FSA, to South Carolina's English exams I mastered and scored a perfect score in.
I love seeing the A-ha! moment in tutees. Helping someone just a little could make such a difference in the future and knowing I helped them relax a little bit and be proud about how far they can come as a person makes me happy as well.

I ask them qualifying questions to see where they stand as a reader and writer, have them read a book to me and write me a paragraph in a prompt. Then I ask them what they would like to improve on and what they would like from me as a tutor.
