About Travis

I currently am a third year college student majoring in criminal justice. I have lots of knowledge of the law side of things, if one would wan't to learn. Being a college student I am constantly reading and writing papers, often times I help my friends with their work as well. Once I graduate I am going to law school. I already am gaining a lot of experience because I work for the federal government. I am currently on a two year internship with the RI district court house shadowing many different fields of work. Such as, attorneys, judges, law clerks, paralegals. I also work very closely with the probabtion department, clerk's office, and attorney general's office.

I honestly started helping out a lot of my friends in college with their papers and other homework assignments. Which then led to meeting with others a few times a week to help them out. I also would occasionally go to my former high school and help the athletes after school with their homework as well.

I am currently a third year college student pursuing my B.A in criminal justice. I currently work for the federal government in the RI district court house as an intern. I have been in advanced english classes all throughout high school, I was also a JROTC cadet in high school. I have a diverse background of many different areas of work/training.

About the lesson

First I would get to know them as a student, what they like and do they enjoy trying to learn and get better at what it is they need help in. Then I would ask them to list a few areas where they struggle in the work they need help on. I Would then let them draft up their own work in front of me, and point out what needs improvement.

College/high school students

I would recommend the student to check the teachers resume and them as a person. The teacher could be the smartest person ever, but do they have an outgoing personality. Will both of you connect once starting to work with each other. Those are questions you have to ask yourself. Because tuturoing takes patience and everyone does not have that. Also, of course are they knowledgeable in the area you need work in .

Last semester a close friend of mine waited until the absolute last minute to do a nine page paper on ethics. He gave me the background of what it was based on, and I started drafting some things up. His brain started to think more once I gave him some good ideas, and a few corrections. He received an A on the paper
