About Keisha
As a dual degree holder in Special Education and General Education and a Bachelor's in Human Services/Psychology, I possess a solid academic foundation that enables me to engage with students from diverse backgrounds effectively. Additionally, I have pursued various certifications and training in holistic health, herbalism, and energy healing, which have earned me credibility in the Health and Wellness industry and provided me with valuable insights to share with students.
Over the course of my 20+ year career, I have held various educational roles, allowing me to gain extensive experience working with students of different age groups. I served as a Special Education Teacher with the New York City Department of Education, where I successfully assisted students in achieving their learning goals within optimal time frames. As an Educational Consultant for the Veteran Affairs Whole Health program, I had the privilege of mentoring and facilitating students with diverse professional backgrounds, including nurses, physical/occupational therapists, social workers, and mental health professionals. This experience allowed me to contribute to their journey of becoming Holistic Health Coaches and expand their professional repertoire.
In these roles, I have honed my skills in engaging stakeholders at different levels and developing tailored training programs that address the unique needs of individual students. I am dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and empowers students to reach their full potential.
