About Daniel
With ten years of experience as an English teacher both in the U.S. and abroad, my expertise in the areas of reading and writing at all levels as well as my passion for teaching ensure tutoring services of the highest excellence. My teaching background is diverse and my commitment to helping my students is robust. I earned my Bachelors Degree in English from Cal State University Fullerton in 2006 and then a nationally accredited California teaching credential from Azusa Pacific in 2009, specializing in English Language Arts.
In addition to my education I have spent the past decade as an English teacher in various roles, starting as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher in Moscow, Russia for nearly three years where I focused on developing students' skills and fluency in the English language. After that I spent four years as a public high school teacher at two different high schools in Northern California teaching ELA (English Language Arts) for all different grade levels in addition to other subjects such French I and Drama.
Since I returned to Southern California in 2017 I have been expanding my teaching into private tutoring services as well as a Chinese company online and a tutoring center for a nationwide company C2 Education. C2 Education was an enriching opportunity for me because it broaded my skills as an English teach with its focus on preparing students for the SAT, ACT, as well as other major standardized tests. I primarily worked with students on their reading and writing proficiency. Additionally I earned a TESOL certificate to increase my qualifications as an English teacher.
I have also been doing work as a freelance writer, which is highly valuable to me as well since it is my greatest passion in life.
My mastery in the field of teaching English, whether in reading or writing or as a second language, is the result of these diverse teaching experiences over the past ten years. The tutoring services I offer are guaranteed the highest expectations for students seeking growth in their reading and writing.
I love each opportunity I have to apply my knowledge and gifts to the benefit of students who desire improvement in their reading and writing aptitude, facilitating the learning process and inspiring students to cultivate a wide-ranging profiency at a deep level. I find a lot of satisfaction in giving my best efforts to meet the needs of my students and reeing the positive results which reflect the student's heightened skill level. The interactions with students are envoyable for me, adding to the value and excitement of my key role in guiding them through the steps of learning and achieving their goals.
