About Emily
I returned to school to earn my teaching license after working in corporate America and realizing I wanted to make a difference in the lives of our city's youth. I have loved becoming a veteran teacher and learning how to best adjust my teaching to the needs of my incredibly diverse students.
I am a certified elementary school teacher with 9 years of teaching experience, along with a BA in English Literature with Deans List honors, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, I've recently had an education article published, and also have extensive academic writing experience as well as effective writing instructional techniques.
