About Yezan

Very proficient in speaking, reading, and writing, with exemplary writing skills, reading comprehension, and speaking skills. The better one becomes at reading and writing, they better the can communicate with the world, both through speech and through prose. Novels, essays, and poems are, after all, one's consciousness permanently etched into the world.

I have tutored plenty of my peers through their reading and writing obstacles. Graduating in 2020 at the age of 18 with an Associate's degree, I feel I am finally ready to take on a larger classroom.

Simply, I have a love for words. Words give insight into one's thoughts and the world itself. Words are inspiring, exciting... fun! One can even disagree with words; insight is insight and as long as one continues to consume words, they will be well on their way to becoming a well rounded citizen of the world, even without a passport.

I graduated in 2020 from an Early College High School with my Associate's degree at the same time as my high school diploma. I have a lot of experience writing essays and have personally tutored a few peers with their reading and writing.

I've had a love of reading and writing from a very young age and, as such, had a very strong foundation in both and have since had a long and wonderful relationship with them.

I can tutor essays, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and much more.

First we must gauge where their boundaries are. Emphasis that they are boundaries, not limits, and the student can work past them. Next is not only a test of patience, but of raport. We hone in on what specific problems might be plagueing the student, one at a time, to ensure that they have a full grasp and foundation before moving on. If the problems are interconnected, we will attack them the way Hercules did with the Hydra.

I have experience working with teens but have also worked with children/young adults on their english journeys.

Try to analyze your shortcomings. If you can figure out *why* you have them, it'll be easier to hire someone like me to come and be your wingman.

I had a young student that had an essay due the very next day. Basically, they wanted me to write their whole essay for them based off of their skeleton. While their framework wasn't great, I saw they had done some great research and had a good foundation in *what* they were writing, just not how.

So I took a sentence from their shabby frame. I explained to them that, while it conveyed their message, it wasn't effective. I wrote them an alternate sentence, one that presented their message in a clearer, more engaging way. Though it featured more advanced vocubulary, I told them it was within their reach, they just had to believe in themselves, and to put more personality into the essay. It's not *an* essay, it's *your* essay.

They went ahead slowly, cautiously, but quickly became an essay writing machine. I continued to supervise and advise.

They got an A.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Not necessarily a question, but remember to maintain a clear line of communication. More importantly, don't be afraid to. No question is too stupid. We are students for a reason.
