About Pamela
I'm a good listener, good at understanding what students need to learn and helping them advance. I have several decades of experience teaching and tutoring, and I know that ANYONE can learn ANYTHING if they're just willing to put in a little time and effort. I have a PhD in Communication Studies with an emphasis in rhetoric--a degree that qualified me to teach various university courses including English composition, writing, and general Communication. On the university level, I have led graduate writing seminars, served on dissertation committees, and have coached dissertations and theses. On the high-school level, I have tutored English as a second language, Spanish, English grammar, and writing also for several decades.
Personally, I enjoy learning and enjoy helping others do that, too. I enjoy getting to know my students and learning together.
