About Ally
I am an excellent tutor in English, reading comprehension and writing. I have worked with students from across the world and use contextual examples to help students understand critical concepts.
I started teaching students in university and continued after I graduated, both as a volunteer in public schools and later, after moving to West Africa, I took on students who needed support who were enrolled in international schools in my area. Students were referred to me by teachers and the director of the school.
I have worked as a tutor throughout university, and took on students from around the world over the past 4 years. I have worked with students of all ages, primarily focusing on writing and English skills.

First, we work through introductions through the form of journal entries. I start with a 3 to 5 minute free form essay with different prompts at the beginning of each lesson to know each student and to understand the strengths and challenges in grammar and writing style.
I've worked with students of all ages, from primary school to adult students.
