About Silas
I feel like my service stands out because I try to tune myself into the student's needs. I never want to move so fast that learning isn't possible. It takes a lot to be able to work with students but it's a rewarding job in itself. I also feel like I have a lot to offer as a student myself.
I enjoy the experience I can get from tutoring. I enjoy meeting new people and being able to help others to understand and learn things in a way that makes sense to them.
This is my attempt to get started at teaching!
I'm a university student who graduated high school 5th in their class and has a 3.65 GPA currently. I'm also a two semester running dean's honors student in my uni.

We'll take it at the students pace and hopefully build them up no matter how long it takes.
I've mostly done some volunteer speaking with middle school and elementary student groups.
Make sure you find someone capable of slowing down to help make sure you understand. If the lessons are moving too fast for you to grasp, then it's going to be hard to learn. Never be afraid to ask for extra help.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Frankly I feel any questions can be asked to a teacher, but as someone who has anxiety I understand the need to try and process things myself before taking them somewhere else. I'd recommend taking a moment to see if you can work yourself through the question, and if the answer is yes do your best, and if it's no definitely go and ask for help.
