About Michelle
I am currently a college sophomore with excellent grades. I commute from home with a part time job so I prefer online tutoring sessions. My strong subject is english which includes essay writing skills, revision skills, strong use of vocabulary, and even college application essays. Even tho english is my strongest subject, I still am good at other subjects as well as ACT and SAT. I've been a tutor for 4 years now, assisting from ages 4-high school students.
I enjoy being the tutor that actually puts in the effort to help kids and parents achieve their goals regarding grades and skills. I enjoy watching the faces light up when they finally understand/master a concept and to see the improvement in grades.
I initially started as a way to make money during the summer. I started with one student who was 4 years old and I assisted in reading and writing skills at a young age. The parent was thrilled with the results they were seeing and started recommending me to other parents. I then became a elementary/middle/high school tutor
I have a high school diploma as well as test scores and experience for ACT, SAT and the PSAT. I have experience in AP/honors classes and college courses.

I typically start off with looking at the course and it's schedule/pace as well as materials that will be covered. Then I like to set a plan with the student and parents to ensure that they are comfortable with the process and make tweaks if needed.
I've worked with students ranging in ages who struggle in all different sorts of topics and subjects.

Details
I typically like to discuss the pricing with parents who make sure that they are comfortable with the price. It saddens me to see parents not being able to get their children tutors due to financial issues and I believe education is a basic component for life meaning parents and students shouldn't feel burdened.
