Yes I Can Tutoring provides individualized one on one and small group reading and writing instruction that promotes high self-esteem and successful outcomes.
My mother worked in the education field and as I watched her and her colleagues work with at-risk youth I saw myself doing the same.
I worked as a Teacher Assistant and tutor during High School and College.
I have a B. A in English and a Master of Leadership in Teaching.
I have taught on the elementary, middle, and high school level teaching English and Language Arts.

I like to build a rapport with my students in order to allow them to feel comfortable and open up with me about their academic needs and so that we can both feel good about working together to meet their goals. Once we have set our goals I focus on assessment and work toward the goals established scaffolding gradually to ensure student success.
