About Sandy
Currently, I am a third-year undergrad student at the University of Houston Downtown. Majoring in Early childhood education (k-6), and have also studied abroad at Yonsei University in South Korea. My current job is helping in elementary schools working with Spanish-speaking students to understand and comprehend English better as their second language. I speak both Spanish and English and I am currently learning Korean as my third language. I very much enjoy working with all ages who are eager to learn. I will make lesson plans as well that will help incorporate what they are learning into what we can work on in our sections. The methods I plan on using will be through games, hands-on activities, and one-on-one practice that will help the subject we are learning become more understanding and easier to comprehend
