About
I am currently a graduate student at the State University of New York at Buffalo pursuing a PhD. in linguistics. I am also working toward my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification.
I have been a substitute teacher for the last three years at the local school district in the elementary, middle and high schools. I am methodical in my approach to teaching. I try to help students understand the material at a deeper more basic level in order to build a solid foundation. I am a life long learner. I have degrees in Zoology, Marine Biology and Linguistics. I have minors in Botany and Japanese. Learning about the world around us is exciting. I teach to help students see the possibilities.
