About Samantha
Are you eager to enhance your reading and writing skills or looking to improve your English proficiency? Or do you need help with reading comprehension? Look no further! As a former English teacher with a decade of experience and a Masters in Education, I am here to help you achieve your goals.
I taught English for a year in South Korea, taught ESOL (k-8) for one year, and taught 6-8 reading/writing for eight years in Wisconsin. I had to transition out of the classroom after having my second child due to lack of childcare in my area.
I currently work as a freelancer doing copy-editing for bid and proposals. It's definitely not as fulfilling as working with students, which is why I am eager to jump back in again and help students.
I believe there are multiple routes to every finish line. I strive get to know each student's particular learning style and create a personalized learning path to success. I excel in creating interactive and informative lessons that help students retain information and achieve their goals.
