About Shamar
I am a graduate from Saint Peter's University in Jersey City. I have my certifications in Elementary Education with a masters in ESL (English as a Second Language). I have been teaching for almost 7 years. I have taught grades ranging from Kindergarten through 6th. I am enthusastic and encouraging with all students I work with! My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results, but for students to feel confident and excited about learning! I am 100% Dominican. When I was little I was a student who required help to learn proper English which is why I choose to help other students and children.
