About Paulchris
Hi, I'm Paul! I am a software developer at a local SME company based in Penang. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Computing at Coventry University, graduated with First Class Honours.
I have a lot of experience in teaching, as I started as a Karate Instructor back when I was still in secondary school. That helped me build up my confidence and skills in teaching and handling students' difficulties in learning. It helped me learn to think from the perspective of the learner and help them move on from there.
I believe this has helped me become a more skillful programming teacher and has helped a lot of my students to have a better time learning from me.
I believe we will have a lot of fun learning about programming!

Explaining code line by line, interpreting it as if you have a built in compiler in your mind is what makes learning with me exciting. Simple analogies will help you understand how computers understand the instructions that you give it, and subsequently executing those instructions.
I typically teach for an hour for each lesson.
I have experience teaching in tuition centers, where most of the students I have catered to are secondary school students.
Additionally, I have also taught WordPress + WooCommerce at Infotrek.
I am also a Certified HRDF Trainer.
