About Lauren
I am the kind of person who always wanted to know why I had to know something. When I was in Form 4, I asked my additional math teacher why the binomial equation worked; she told me I would never understand the subject.
I went on to get an A+ for my SPM, eventually going to study at the University of Bonn, the highest ranked university in Europe for Mathematics. While I no longer want to research mathematics, I am still passionate about making sure that people get the help they need to get through maths.

I am a fun-oriented tutor who takes a gameified approach to mathematics. While I can be serious, I find that proving that maths is fun is often more productive.
My students often "race" me to solve problems correctly, and I maintain a reward system for progress made. This approach is effective in both primary and secondary students, although the type of rewards may vary for different students.
