About Anna

My name is Anna Luena and I am a musician, healer and teacher. I am a professional musician and have been swimming my entire life. I got my AA in guitar performance from the Musician's Institute of Hollywood in 2016 and I have had my WSI certification to teach swimming since I was 16 years old.

Earlier this year I created Luena Grace LLC and I have developed an all natural vegan body exfoliator called Dab Mask. I also a published "Don't Worry" the Musician's Journal in August 2021. And just this year I have already over 65k streams on Spotify alone.

I am a working musician and love to help other's achieve their personal goals when I am not touring or recording.

If you or someone you know has a passion to learn music, vocal training, guitar/piano, or audio production I can help. If you or someone you know has a passion to learn how to swim or needs become a stronger swimmer, I can help with that too!

I am looking to take on clients who are responsible, respectful of time and have a passion to accomplish their dreams. I look forward to our first chat!

I first started teaching swimming with my mother who was also my swim coach. I started teaching with her when i was about 11 years old and then when I was old enough at 16 I got my WSI certification.

After having so much teaching experience in swimming, when I graduated college with my music degree it was only natural for me to start teaching music as well.

I have an AA in Guitar Performance and have been a trained WSI for over 15 years.

About the lesson

When working with a new student I will first evaluate where they are at currently and discuss their goals and expectations for what they desire to gain from our lessons together.

I've worked with students all ages, backgrounds and skill levels. My youngest student was 10 days old and my wisest was 84 years old.

When you are hiring someone make sure that you connect with them. I'm big on energy so make sure they have a positive energy and care about the needs of their students.

I'm going to give a swimming and a music example.

My clients send me videos of their progress all the time and recently my student sent a video of herself singing karaoke out with friends for the first time. She was so happy and radiating with confidence.

Another client of mine recently visited Tulum, Mexico and she sent me a video of herself jumping off a waterfall! She could not put her face in the water comfortably at the begining of this summer and now she's jumping off waterfalls and swimming in underwater sinkholes. Just amazing.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students need to be honest with themselves and ask themselves:

Where am I currently at skill wise? Where would I like to be? Am I ready to do the work necessary to get to where I want to be? How much time can I realistically devote to my goals daily? Weekly?
