About Hayden
-History was my absolute favorite subject is high school/ college. I have never made below a 95 in any of those subjects. It is my passion and honor to teach students to love history as much as I do.
-My day job is an OPS Design Engineer in Telecommunications.
-I have a business degree in business management from Truett McConnell University.
My mother actually taught English for over 30 years and is now an administrator. So I have always wanted to go into teaching but I picked the engineering route for the financial gain. This can be a way to do both.
My background is in running several businesses and being a design engineer during my day job. With my background as an engineer I have usually excelled in math. My passion though would be history. It was my favorite subject as a student and still is today.

-First will be to just talk for thirty minutes or so to develop trust and a business working relationship.
-Next would be to talk about what you need help with and your goals for that class/quarter/semester.
-Lastly would be to develop a working schedule/gameplan that both parties agree on to achieve those goals.
I played college baseball so I have worked with a ton of kids in terms of coaching teams or doing individual lessons. This is a new experience for me to do it in an academic setting.
That they are in for a fun time. I will make sure that not only you learn your subject but some great tips as well on being successful, time management, and people skills.
I know this has nothing to do with academic study but I love golf. I actually shot my first even par round not too long ago.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Just their end goal. Are they wanting certain grades? Do they just want to improve on the subject knowledge in general? Do they know the subject but can't seem to transfer that into a test setting?

Because this is my first time tutoring. I will start out at just $20 an hour. If you want other options I am more than happy to discuss terms as I can be very reasonable.
