About Kathryn
I started creating jewelry while I was home pregnant with my daughter because I don't watch tel-lie-vision. I fell in love with creating and never stopped evolving. I love wire wrapping and prefer that instead of beading now and I like to incorporate beads with my wire wraps. I have done metalsmithing in jewelry making too but I don't have enough experience in that to teach it. I was an apprentice to my teacher. I can teach you how to make earrings, necklaces, pendants and bracelets. I can teach you how to make your own clasps or how to connect premade clasps. I'm self taught for over 20 years. I have been trained in metalsmithing but do not have a studio to work from for that.

I would ask a series of questions to see what level of experience they have 1st and to learn about them and what they want to achieve.
None, just kids who were not paying.
I would tell them it's all trial and error. We must make mistakes or we wouldn't learn. I'm here to help you not make too many mistakes cuz it can end up costing more in supplies. I'm just your guide, there really is no right or wrong just a better way. But when it comes to the clasps on jewelry it can be wrong. Minor details can make major differences
