The Dojo is an institution dedicated to the preservation and passing on of traditional martial arts. We are a school committed to the development of our students, both in “The Dojo” as martial artist, and as positive role models in our community. We have a goal to reach as many people as we can to help them better their lives through the structure of our classes, the importance of dedication, and the rewards of hard work and accomplishing goals. We aim to provide classes that will make you sweat, smile and learn. We say a martial artist is an artist of life, and at “The Dojo” our teachings will benefit our students physically, mentally, and spiritually, with the goal of the betterment of our society.

At The Dojo, we study out of the Zen Bei Butoku-Kai International. The Zen Bei is an organization that is committed to upholding the standards of traditional martial arts training, as taught by founder O'Sensei Richard Kim. The current head of the Zen Bei Butoku-Kai is Sensei Brian Ricci, senior student to O'Sensei Richard Kim.

About the lesson

Getting started at our dojo is easy.

All of our students begin their training by participating in our Introductory Course. This intro course is designed to equip students with the basic material needed to make a smooth transition into our regular classes. It is a fantastic way for new students to become well acquainted, not only with the basic material, but also with our teaching style.

The Dojo is excellent! I highly recommend this place! The Sensei is very fun and exciting to watch and listen to as he teaches the kids! The staff is very helpful and it is also a very clean Dojo! The classes are very helpful with my son's focus and attention!
