About Alexandra
Variety is the spice of life and I do a little bit of everything. I am an Educational Psychologist and entrepreneur currently active in the fields of Education and Recruiting. I have always been very passionate about Education , which I consider to be the spread of knowledge for the purpose of enhancing our society. I have experience in a wide range of industries (mostly sales and Education),but have expanded my path to work in recruiting for BioTech companies, since I feel that these companies greatly contribute to necessary research and innovation.
I am currently working on a PhD in Crisis/Emergency Management and as part of my studies I am researching the correlation between mental illness and high study/work performance, and am also using the business I currently run to conduct studies on the impact of COVID-19 on Education/instructional technology. I have been a University Math and Psychology professor in my native country of Ecuador, a successful educational business owner, and most importantly a a life-long learner and addiction recovery advocate.
Teaching comes naturally to me and through my business endeavors I have mastered public speaking and sales techniques. I know I can easily pass this on to people who struggle with presentations.
