About Jamie

I have been single-mindedly focused on holistic health since the onset of some serious family medical issues nearly a decade ago. Since, I have been on my own personal self-study program geared to consistently evolve myself into my best version.

I spent 3 years studying stress management, nutrition, holistic health, and life coaching at Arizona State University, and in late 2014 sent myself on a 2 month journey through India to study Yoga and Ayurveda. I keep myself well-informed and up-to-date on new information within the realm of holistic health and/or yoga.

I have been doing one on one lifestyle coaching as an independent since 2012, and teaching yoga both indepently as well at local studios, gyms and events since 2014.

Nothing is more satisfying than uplifting someone to the point of healing themselves, from the inside out. Baring witness to such things is as close to a miracle as I've ever known a miracle to be.

I first started as my own guinea pig, willing to put these ancient practices and ideas into practice within my own life. Through self-evaluation, reflection of my experiences, and continuous study and refine techniques, I believe I have something for everybody.

I have University course work completed in the fields of lifestyle coaching and personal health.

I have a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification through Santhi Yoga Institute in Kerala, India.

I have been up to date on my CPR certification since 2009.

About the lesson

It's important that we initially get to know a little bit about each other, and ensure that we can build a trusting, open and professional relationship with one another before moving forward with any kind of practice.

I have worked with people ranging from 6 years old to people in their 70's. Perfectly healthy, injury free and vital bodies to those ridden with aches, pains and recovering injuries. There is space for everybody when taking on a new holistic practice through yoga or otherwise.

Find someone you can jive with on a more personal level, and who has the knowledge, practice and expertise needed for your particular issue/s. In other words, find somebody who was once where you are and is currently somewhere you want to be - nobody can teach you anything they haven't done themselves.

Living in The Greater Seattle area during it's glorious summer months, you can find various small and larger health related festivals and conferences where people from the industry come together and spread awareness and knowledge to those who might be seeking. I appreciate these attempts at creating more holistic health within the community.
