About Wesley
Hi, my name's Wesley. I'm a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I earned a bachelor of arts in philosophy and a bachelor of science in psychological and brain sciences, and I'm excited to be your new tutor!
My experience as a writing tutor for college students has uniquely prepared me to tutor to a wide audience. I am particularly competent in teaching high-school and college-level writing, but am also willing to accept more advanced students from earlier grade-levels. While I specialize in general writing tutoring, I can also tutor competently in psychology, philosophy, and logical reasoning if requested!
Working with me, students will find a friendly, collaborative, judgment-free atmosphere where they can improve in the areas they need the most help in. I am interested in helping students feel confident in their own abilities as writers and creative problem-solvers, and believe that the student's personal growth should be a priority. To that end, I welcome both student and (if applicable) parent feedback, and am very much willing to tailor my tutoring in accord with it.
