About Lia
Math is my favorite subject because I love problem solving.
I enjoy helping others learn and grow confident doing math.
I have tutored family members and friends over the years. I am interested in trying to do it in a different envirnoment.
I am an engineer that enjoys doing math problems.
I love helping others learn. I know that math is sometimes a hard subject to grasp so when I can help someone it brings me joy.
I have helped friends and family members in the past with math class work and tutored informally. All the math subjects I tutor I have taken to obtain my degree and have excelled at.

First I talk with the student to get an understanding of what they are struggling with. I give them a practice problem and see how they solve it. From the initial problem will discussion their solving process and how they can improve their approach. From there I will discuss the problem and answer any questions they have.
