About Lydia
I am a mathematics PhD student and an Ivy League graduate with 4 years of tutoring and teaching experience. I have tutored students of mathematics from 6th grade to the undergraduate level. Some courses I have tutored before include Algebra, Geometry, AP Calculus, Calc I, II, III, Linear Algebra, Discrete Math, Topology, and Pre-Calculus. I have also done SAT Prep and private high school entrance exam preparation. I am friendly and love working with students!

For the first session, I will ask students to outline their goals, as well as what they've been working on and are struggling with. I'll also ask them how they usually like things to be explained - some students already know they're more visual learners, or the like. We'll then usually just jump right in to working on problems and seeing where the student is at with their understanding of the material.
