About Ibrahim
I am well educated in both the sciences and the humanities. Having earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Psychology, I can connect with students on both an intellectual and an emotional level. I know how to create a bridge between the student's interests and the material they need to learn and can engage with them in a motivating and effective manner. I've been instructing people in one form or another since 2002. Also, having lived in many countries and been exposed to a myriad of cultures, I can easily connect with people from anywhere. My favorite topics to tutor are Mathematics, psychology, and philosophy.

First I introduce myself and break the ice with the student by getting to know them. Then before we begin the actual tutoring, I help identify the student's needs so that they feel motivated to learn and feel like their learning is connected to their real-life goals and dreams. I like for the student to feel as understood and supported as possible.
