About Scott
Tutoring is very rewarding because I see my students improve their confidence both academically and socially.
Working together with students and parents to achieve success in Math and in their overall academic career. Helping Students achieve their goals through instruction and coaching.
I was previously a School Resource Deputy in St John's County Florida and a Pee Wee Football coach which ignited my passion for helping students succeed.
BA General Education MA Management EdD in Education Leadership (ABD) Teaching experience with Citrus County, Pinellas, Clay County, Hillsborough, Hernando County Schools. Experience teaching Special Needs Students and adults. Certified in ESE and MG Math. Former Lead Educator in a physiatric residential treatment facility.

The first session will involve getting to know the student and determining the areas the student is struggling with. Prior to the second session I will prepare lessons that focus on the concepts the student struggles with. I will meet every student at their current academic level and scaffold concepts to build mastery and develop learning gains.
Struggling students that have not found success in math or reading. Special needs students including students with Autism.
